We are delighted through BookTrust NI to welcome Tom Percival to the 2021 Virtual Author Tour, supported by Lottery Project Funding through Arts Council NI. We hope our pupils are enjoying reading the Dream Team books they received and have lots of questions for the live virtual Q&A taking place on Monday 7th June 2021 in our school with Tom.
Tom Percival has been writing and illustrating books like The Invisible, The Sea Saw and the Big Bright Feelings Books like Ruby’s Worry and Ravi’s Roar. Before that he had a whole other career making animations, designing posters, taking photographs and generally doing anything creative that you can think of!
His book Meesha Makes Friends has been shortlisted for the Oscars Book Prize and in fact LOTS of his books have been shortlisted for other big industry awards.
Alongside the picture books Tom also makes the Dream Team books which are a highly illustrated chapter-book series for young readers that have been shortlisted for the Alligators mouth book awards 2021.
