BBC Northern Ireland, Two Minute Tales Competition
Two Minute Tales, BBC Northern Ireland’s short story competition, is back.
Children from all across Northern Ireland have a chance to have their wonderful short stories brought to life on BBC Radio Ulster… or even made into their very own animation!
They are looking for children aged between 5 – 16 to write a short story of no more than 300 words based on the theme ‘A Christmas to Remember’.
Entries will be split into three age categories, 5 – 8, 9 - 13 and 14 -16. Nine stories will be shortlisted, three in each age category. All shortlisted stories will be voiced by an actor and will be broadcast on The Lynette Fay Show on BBC Radio Ulster in the run up to Christmas.
The top story in each category will be turned into an animation and featured across the BBC.
Parents/Guardians must agree to the terms and conditions of this competition and upload the stories directly via the Two Minute Tales website.
We can’t wait to read your pupil’s Two Minute Tales!
