WE ARE FINALISTS! P4/5 have been working hard to create a recipe for the Brennans Bread 'Dough It Yourself' competition that would reduce food waste by using up leftover slices of bread. The class came up with an Apple Pie toastie recipe, filled with juicy stewed apples and a crunchy cinnamon sugar topping to make a sustainable and delicious dessert! St Anthony's has been chosen as one of 4 finalists to head to W5, where they will battle in a cook off against 3 other schools in the hope of being crowned as the overall winners! We are incredibly proud of the pupils and can't wait to see them in the final!
